Tel Aviv: Since October 7, cyber attacks against us have become more aggressive
According to Webangah News quoted by Tasnim News agency, Gabi Partoni The director general of Israel’s domestic cyber administration has stated that cyber attacks against this regime have become more aggressive after the operations of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, Hamas, on October 7, 2023.
Attributing these attacks to Iranian hackers, Partoni asked countries to form a “common front” to counter these attacks. He claimed that hackers related to Iran are attacking Saudi Arabia, Oman, Canada, UAE, England, Germany and Austria.
He, who was speaking at a conference in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, said: “This issue turns Iran’s militancy into a regional and global militancy.” This Zionist official claimed that hacker groups related to Iran such as “Madiwater” are considered an international threat.
Partoni at the annual conference “Cyber Week” which held at Tel Aviv University noted that since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, cyber attacks against Israel have become more aggressive and are targeting more of the regime’s critical infrastructure.
He claimed that hacker groups use “psychological warfare” in attacks against the Zionist regime. He clarified: “The extracted information is published on various media platforms such as Telegram and X, so it is not clear that the source is Iranians”.
