Islamabad: Several senior officials of the Pakistani Taliban have been arrested

According to the report of Russia Al-Yum, Ziaullah Langao, the interior minister of Pakistan’s Balochistan province, praised the security forces for “saving Islamabad from possible major attacks by arresting these 2 militants”.

In this regard, the Minister of Interior of Balochistan State of Pakistan added: The arrest of these 2 people (Nasrullah and Idris) was part of a complex intelligence operation that was successfully completed.

Ziaullah Langao, during a press conference in the city of Quetta (western Pakistan), broadcast a video in which “Nasrullah” (head of the military council of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) confirmed that ” He has been a part of the Pakistani Taliban movement for 16 years”.

According to Ofoq, the Interior Minister of Balochistan added that 3 people, including this TTP commander, were arrested in today’s operation in Balochistan.

This Pakistani official did not provide information about the identity of the other two officials of the Tehreek-e-Taliban movement.
