Ukrainian war crime documents on the way to the US Congress
Retired US Army officer Scott Bennett said that he had previously traveled to Belgorod to record the bombing of civilians by Ukrainian forces, and plans to present this material to the US Congress in the future.
Bennett said in an interview with Sputnik: “I now want to address the US Congress and present to them all the photo and video evidence of war crimes committed by the Ukrainian authorities, showing how Ukrainian forces are bombing schools, kindergartens and residential areas.” I am an officer and it is my direct duty to convey the truth to the people.
According to the retired officer, he spent several days in Belgorod, including on June 22, when an air raid warning sounded in the city every twenty minutes, and along with it, the air defense system went into action. He filmed all the events with his camera.
Bennett went to Russia for the first time in November 2023 to film a documentary about Donbass with Russian journalists. He visited Donetsk, Solidar, Gorlovka, Mariupol and other cities. He added: The main motive of going to the war zones was to show the complete lies of the American government about what was happening in the region.
This retired American officer added: I realized that by sending weapons to Ukraine, the United States is basically participating in war crimes against civilians, and at the same time, the people of my country do not know what is really happening and all the official media are reporting pure lies.
Sputnik concluded that Kiev was following terrorist methods, particularly the use of suicide drones and continuous artillery fire against civilians and civilian installations in Russia. According to this Russian news agency, Ukraine’s actions are an attempt to divert attention from the failure of what it calls the counterattack, which it announced in June last year.
Ukrainian forces target Russian border areas in the provinces of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov and Crimea almost daily with drones and missiles.
