Unprecedented testimony of Palestinian detainees in the prison of the Zionist regime
Since October 7, 2023, after the painful blows it received from the Palestinian resistance axis (Hamas), the Zionist regime has intensified security measures in the Palestinian areas and started mass arrests of civilians. At the same time, humanitarian organizations are reporting on the mistreatment and organized torture of Palestinians in the custody of the Zionist regime.
According to Al Jazeera, the Commission for Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society announced today (Wednesday): The number of people who have been arrested by the Zionist forces since October 7 and died in captivity is the highest since 1967.
This commission emphasizes in a joint statement with the United Nations on the International Day of Support for Victims of Torture: The Zionist authorities torture prisoners and detainees widely. At least 18 Palestinians have died in Israeli custody since October 7. Meanwhile, there are no statistics on detainees in Gaza.
This statement adds: Since October 7, the Zionist military has detained 9,400 Palestinians in the West Bank, thousands of Palestinians in Gaza, and hundreds of Palestinians in the occupied territories of 1948. Since then, unprecedented levels of torture have been implemented against detainees.
Prisoners released from the prison of the Zionist regime report severe hunger, organized disregard for prisoners’ medical issues, solitary confinement, and disregard for the detainees’ basic rights.
