Russia asks its citizens to refrain from traveling to Lebanon

The Russian ambassador in Beirut advised the citizens of this country to postpone their trip to Lebanon if possible.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Russia Eliom, the Russian ambassador in Beirut said in an interview with “Russia 24” television channel: The embassy advises Russian citizens to postpone their trip to Lebanon if possible.

“Alexander Rudakov” noted that the Russian embassy is in constant contact with Russian citizens living in Lebanon.

He stated: Of course, we continue to closely monitor the situation and we always advise all our citizens that if they are afraid of something, it is time to use the natural opportunity that It is still available to use to leave Lebanon via Beirut airport.

In recent times and after the escalation of tensions on the border of Lebanon and occupied Palestine, a number of other countries, including Kuwait and Canada, have advised their citizens to leave Lebanon or avoid traveling to it. The country should refrain.
