Canada has sanctioned 12 individuals and institutions related to the Zionist regime
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada announced in a statement that in new sanctions, 7 individuals and 5 institutions of the Zionist regime are under sanctions due to their role in facilitating, supporting or financially assisting the violent actions of the Zionist settlers against Palestinian civilians.
According to Sputnik, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada, extremist Zionist settlers have fueled violence that has led to loss of life and destruction of property and agricultural land in the West Bank. These attacks have also led to the forced displacement of Palestinian communities.
Canada had previously sanctioned 4 Zionist settlers in the middle of May due to violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.
In April, the European Union and the United States imposed sanctions against “key figures” who were said to be behind extreme settler violence. In 2015, one of these people was involved in a deadly fire at a Palestinian home in the West Bank, which killed their father, mother and 18-month-old baby.
