Medvedev: Sanctioning Russia is a cunning game of America against Europe

The deputy of the Russian Security Council described the anti-Russian sanctions as a cunning game of the United States against the interests of the European Union.

reported by Mehr News Agency “Dmitry Medvedev,” the deputy of the Russian Security Council, said: “Sanctions against Russia are a cunning and clever game by the United States against the interests of the European Union, and Europe has begun to understand this,” Mehr News Agency reported.

He added: It is impossible to solve the Ukraine crisis without canceling all sanctions against Russia. Russia should calculate all the losses caused by the sanctions and demand compensation.

Medovev stated: We want to return to the consultations regarding the collective support of the countries affected by the sanctions. We ask the responsible members of the international community not to support the confiscation of Russian assets. Russian assets must be unfreezed and returned to the Russian government. Stealing government assets in certain circumstances can be considered as aggression.

Deputy of the Russian Security Council noted: Any legal-criminal initiative to hold the Russian authorities accountable should be stopped.

He said in response to NATO’s statements about non-interference in Ukraine’s attacks against Russia: “It’s ridiculous, everything is completely understandable to everyone.” Russia does not intend to attack the West, and Western countries have entered the conflict in Ukraine without any reason.

Dmitry Medvedev emphasized in the end: Western countries must take legal responsibility for their involvement in the conflict in Ukraine.
