The presence of Arab countries and Israel in the NATO meeting
According to the Financial Times, the United States has invited the foreign ministers of several Arab countries and Israel to the 75th NATO anniversary summit in Washington next month.
Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are among the Arab guests.
According to this report, the United States has also invited the foreign ministers of more than 30 countries, including Japan, Australia and South Korea, in order to avoid possible tensions over inviting Israel.
The Financial Times quoted an unnamed NATO official as saying: “NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg has invited 32 heads of state and government, plus leaders of Indo-Pacific partners.”
It should be said, a meeting at the level of leaders is scheduled to be held on July 9-11 in Washington in the framework of the 75th anniversary of NATO in the Transatlantic Alliance.
