Zionist settlers set fire to olive fields in the West Bank
In a new atrocity, the Zionist settlers set fire to the agricultural lands belonging to the Palestinians near the city of Nablus in the West Bank and turned the grains and olive trees into ashes.
According to West Asia Eye, eyewitnesses say that despite the efforts of the Palestinians to put out the fire, the flames spread and engulfed a large area of grain and olive trees. Local sources also say that the settlers deliberately take their sheep to the Palestinian fields for grazing and damage their crops.
Zionist settlers have increased their aggression against Palestinians and their properties in recent months. Their actions include setting fires, throwing stones at Palestinians and their cars, uprooting crops and olive trees, attacking houses and stealing cattle.
Estimates show that around 700,000 illegal settlers live in the occupied West Bank.
