New European Union sanctions against Belarus

According to the European Union website, Brussels announced in this regard that it has imposed some of the sanctions that were previously imposed on Russia against Belarus.
According to the published statement, the European Union has banned the import of gold, diamonds, helium, coal and mineral products, as well as crude oil from Belarus.
It is added in the statement issued on the European Union website that today’s sanctions target trade, services, transportation and circumvention of previously imposed restrictions.
Brussels’ alleged excuse for this hostile action is “economic integration between Belarus and Russia, as well as the closing of loopholes that could allow Belarus to circumvent the restrictions imposed on Moscow.”
Russian army on February 24, 2022 (March 5, 1400) its “special military operation” in eastern Ukraine started; Senior officials of the Russian government say that this operation began in response to the request of the leaders of Donetsk and Luhansk to protect them from Ukrainian forces.

America and Western countries have imposed many sanctions against Russia in order to counter the advance of the Russian army, while sending all kinds of advanced weapons to the Ukrainian army.
