Axios: Biden’s relatives will decide on his withdrawal

The Axios news website says that US President Joe Biden will give up running for the presidency if his closest relatives and friends make such a decision. At the same time, the publication’s sources claim that such an action by the small circle around Biden is unlikely and would be “shocking and unexpected” if it happens. 

Axios writes: “Forget the pundits, editorial writers and New York Times columnists. “The only way the president will be forced to withdraw from the Democratic nomination after losing the last debate is for his small group of lifelong loyalists to do so.” These people are Jill Biden, his wife, Valerie Biden, his younger sister, and Ted Kaufman, Biden’s longtime friend and adviser. In addition, a small group of White House advisers are included in this circle. 

Axios says that these people are actually an oligarchy and a council of elders for Biden, and they dominate the small and big decisions in the life of the American president. A source close to the Biden family says they know the debate was a “disaster,” but also believe there is still a glimmer of hope. 

However, an unnamed Democrat said the Biden family should tell him the truth because loyalty should not be blind. He went on to say that Biden’s ship is in a bad state and members of Congress are not supposed to enter this ship. 

It should be said that Thursday night’s presidential debate between Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden, the current president of the United States, has become very controversial. Biden, who has had a lot of attention in recent months due to his distractions, left his sentences half-finished several times in this debate or uttered vague and unclear sentences. Western media clearly described this debate as a “disaster” and demanded that Biden withdraw from the Democratic nomination.

There are less than 8 weeks left until Biden becomes the official Democratic nominee, and in the meantime, the party is unable to replace Kamala Harris, the vice president, due to her low popularity.
