China warns Europe about the start of a trade war

The Ministry of Commerce of China has warned of the beginning of a trade war if the European measures against the import of Chinese goods continue.

According to mehr reporter to Quoting from Rashatudi, China’s Ministry of Commerce has warned that if the trade tension continues to escalate from the European Union, we may witness a trade war.

The Chinese side has claimed that the European Union took an unfair approach in its eight-month investigation on the import of Chinese electric cars.

The warning of the Ministry of Commerce of China was issued after the European Union increased the import tariff of Chinese electric cars to 38% after completing its investigation. Of course, the Chinese side is adopting a similar approach in importing meat from this union. China earlier also warned that it may limit the import of agricultural and aviation products from the European Union.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce of China said that the European side is escalating the trade tension and this issue can lead to a trade war, the responsibility of this issue is fully on the European side.

The issue of investigation into the entry of Chinese goods into Europe was triggered by the announcement of Arzola Von Derlein, the President of the European Commission, in September of last year.
