The Kremlin spokesman says that the atmosphere of the UN Security Council is very hostile towards Russia.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Tass, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov believes that the atmosphere of the UN Security Council is very anti-Russian and hostile.

Pskov said in a press conference about whether Russia is able to provide “neutrality” to the functioning of the Security Council during its one-month presidency (rotating): “Definitely” It is very difficult to do such a thing within four weeks, considering that the atmosphere of the Security Council is extremely aggressive towards Russia!

Russia began its one-month presidency of the United Nations Security Council today. The last time Moscow supervised the activity of this key council was April 2023.

Moscow will hold the first session of the Security Council under its presidency on Monday, and after approving the agenda for the coming months, Vasiliy Nebenzia, Russia’s representative to the United Nations, will hold a press conference. and then he will have a meeting behind closed doors with the members of the General Assembly.
