In opposition to Karim Khan’s request, the Prosecutor General of The Hague Court to issue an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoaf Galant, the Prime Minister and Minister of War of this regime, to submit to this court.
Senior officials of the Foreign Ministry of the Zionist regime have said in a conversation with the Hebrew language news site Vala that if these countries or some of them send their legal opinions to the Hague Court , the judges of the court will be convinced that there will be no reason to agree to Karim Khan’s request.
A senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Zionist regime pointed out that a special working group in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deal with the crisis of international arrest warrants and encourage legal support from different countries of the world to prepare For the possibility of issuing arrest warrants on July 12, and in this regard, the foreign minister of this regime has sent a letter to his counterparts in 25 countries and requested their help.
In this letter, he claimed that the Zionist regime has an independent judicial system and will investigate allegations of law violations, including during the war. Because, the issuance of arrest warrants is in conflict with the “principle of complementarity”, which states that the International Criminal Court has no role and place except when the country’s judicial system is unwilling or unable to investigate crimes.
