107 people died during a religious ceremony in India

The Hindustan Times newspaper reported on Tuesday, quoting the country’s police, that at least 107 people died as a result of a stampede at a religious ceremony in the city of Hatteras in the state. They were killed in “Uttar Pradesh” in North India.

One of the eyewitnesses of this incident stated that a huge crowd had gathered in one place and there was no exit and everyone fell on each other. According to this person, many people fainted as a result of the crowding and heat, and others died.
