Putin meets with the informant and Erdogan
Anatolia news agency reported that Yury Ushakov, Kremlin adviser on foreign policy, announced at his Tuesday press conference in Moscow that the presidents of Turkey and Russia will meet in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, during the Shanghai summit.
Ushakov added that in this summit, in addition to Erdogan, on July 3rd (tomorrow Wednesday), Putin will meet and talk separately with the heads of governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and India.
Kremlin palace adviser on foreign policy said about the meeting between the presidents of Turkey and Russia in Astana: “(Putin’s) visit to Turkey has been planned for a long time. I think the presidents of the two countries will discuss this issue (in tomorrow’s meeting). Considering Turkey’s special position in the region, many topics will be discussed in this meeting.
In another part of his speech, he stated: We are in continuous contact with the Turkish side. During the recent days, President Putin met with the Turkish Foreign Minister.
Ushakov also said in this press conference that the President of Russia will meet with Iran’s Acting President Mohammad Mokhbar in Astana on July 4th (Thursday of this week).
It should be said that the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held on July 3rd and 4th (tomorrow and the day after tomorrow) in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
