Notice of Iran’s Benefat office in Washington about the holding of the second phase of the presidential election

The Office of the Protector of Iran’s Interests in Washington added in this announcement: Considering the holding of the first round of the elections of the 14th term of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we consider it necessary for the loved ones who have traveled from far and near as well as from Canada. paved the way and patiently faced the adversities, left no stone unturned to participate in the voting for the selection of the highest executive office of our beloved country, we bow and respect and express our gratitude.

Considering that the presidential election has been extended to the second round, the second round of elections will be held in the United States and designated branches on Friday, July 15, 1403 (equal to July 05, 2024), at the same time as Iran. 

Having the citizenship of the Islamic Republic of Iran and being at least 18 years old – born on July 6th, 2006 and before – are among the conditions for participating in the elections. Also, branches will be opened in a number of places near the border of Canada, and compatriots who failed to participate in the first round of elections can participate in the second round.
