Martyrdom of 4 Palestinian fighters in Nur Shams camp

Four Palestinian resistance fighters were martyred last night and early today-Wednesday- in the bombing of Noor Shams camp by the occupying planes.

Al-Quds Brigades, Al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Aqsa Martyrs emphasized in Tulkarem that this assassination “only increases their determination to fight and adhere to the option of resistance, and their response will be crushing”.

The martyrs are: Yazid Saeed Adel Shafi (22 years old), Nimr Anwar Ahmad Hamarsheh (25 years old), Mohammad Yaser Raja Shehadeh (20 years old) and Mohammad Hassan Ghanem Kannoh (22 years old).

Al-Quds Battalions – Tulkarem Brigade said that the blood of its mujahideen “will not be wasted” and addressed the invaders: “We will give you the taste of calamities.” We have prepared the fire of hell in the alleys of the camp, and tomorrow is near to watch it.”

In this regard, Al-Mayadeen reporter pointed out that the occupying regime claimed that the resistance fighters were trying to plant explosives in a place close to the area where 2 days ago, during the attack of the occupying forces on the Noor Shams camp, a bomb was detonated in a passenger car. and led to the death of an occupying soldier and the wounding of an officer.

Also, videos were broadcast on social networks showing the burial of the martyrs of Noor Shams camp.

Local media reported that after the rocket was fired by the occupying drone in Al Bataqeh area in the center of the camp, a huge explosion was heard in Tulkarm city.

Also, the national action groups and institutions and activities of Tulkarem governorate announced public mourning and nationwide strike on Wednesday, including all aspects of life except secondary school exams, in mourning for the martyrs of Noor Shams camp.

With the martyrdom of these four youths, after the martyrdom of citizen Nasreen Zamiri and child Mohammad Sarhan during the occupation attack on Tulkarem city and Noor Shams camp on Monday, the number of martyrs in Tulkarem city reached 6 within 24 hours.

On Monday, Shahid Zamiri died due to being hit by a rocket shrapnel in his neck and back following the bombing by the occupying drone at the entrance of Tulkarem camp, and the child Sarhan also died due to a bullet hit in the head during the invasion of Tulkarem city and Noor Shams camp by the occupying forces. He was martyred in the attack that lasted more than seven hours and destroyed infrastructure and property of citizens.

Last Sunday, a young man named Saeed Ezzat Jaber (24 years old) was martyred and five others were injured, including 2 who are in serious condition, following the bombardment of a house in al-Manshieh neighborhood in Nurshams camp by the occupation drones.

The number of martyrs in the West Bank has reached 560 martyrs, including 136 children, and the number of wounded has reached about 5300 since the start of the Zionist regime’s all-out aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th.
