Slovakia: No power can force us to fight in Ukraine
Slovakia's defense minister said that the country insists on its position of not getting involved in the war in Ukraine.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency Citing Sputnik, Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kaliniak announced on Wednesday that no power can force Slovakia to send troops to Ukraine.
The Minister of Defense of Slovakia, recalling the statements of the Prime Minister of this country, Robert Fico, emphasized his country’s position towards the war in Ukraine.
Slovak Prime Minister recently said that he would prefer to resign, but not to involve the Slovak army in the Ukraine war.
The senior Slovak defense official said reporters laughed at Fico’s words at the time, but time has shown that plans to send NATO troops to Ukraine are real.
