Putin: The relations between Moscow and Beijing are based on mutual interests

Today, in a meeting with his Chinese counterpart on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, the Russian president said: Moscow-Beijing relations are based on mutual interests.

reported by Mehr News Agency According to Ryanosti news agency, Chinese President Xi Jinping met and consulted with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Astana.

In this meeting, the President of Russia emphasized the dynamic and active trend in the process of trade exchanges between the two countries. He also appreciated Beijing’s hospitality during his recent trip to China.

Putin continued in his meeting with Xi Jinping: Today, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is one of the key pillars of a just world order. Moscow will support China’s presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2024 and 2025.

This Russian official noted: We are hopeful about Xi Jinping’s participation in the “BRICS” meeting in Kazan.
