British parliamentary elections and the chances of the Labor Party to win

British parliamentary elections are being held since this morning in the shadow of predictions about the victory of the Labor Party.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to Al-Hura, British citizens have been going to polling centers since this morning to cast their votes in the boxes with the aim of electing a new government, which predictions indicate the possibility of gaining power. The opposition party is the Labor Party in this country.

This is while the UK is struggling with the economic recession, the loss of public trust in government institutions and the collapse of the social fabric. Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of England and head of the Conservative Party, has been in power in this country since 2010.

The Labor Party, led by Keir Starmer, managed to get ahead of its rivals in the polls of the last few months. On the other hand, Rishi Sunak tried to convince his supporters that the Conservative Party can still win and defend its economic record.

Predictions indicate that the Labor Party can take 484 seats out of 650 seats in the parliament. The general election is a process that is held in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to form the House of Commons and the cabinet of the future government is formed from among the members of the House of Commons.
