Karbala police security plan to ensure the safety of pilgrims

Ehsan al-Asadi, the media officer of the Karbala Police Command, said that this plan is based on several axes and will be implemented under the supervision of the Minister of Interior.

According to the official Iraqi news agency, Al-Asadi added that there are strong security preparations, including the increase in the presence of security forces in all directions by the Karbala Operation Headquarters Command, the Karbala Police Command and other security and intelligence agencies and Al-Hashd al-Shaabi.

He explained about this plan that it starts with manual operations in desert areas and agricultural lands and islands, and there is also an information plan and a plan for smooth traffic of cars and preventing traffic.

He also mentioned the intensification of information efforts and technical efforts, including surveillance with cameras throughout the province and the activation of smart cameras at checkpoints outside the city.

The head of the media unit of the Karbala Police Command pointed out the high-level coordination between all the security forces in Karbala, the federal government, the local government, and the holy shrines.
