Putin: Ukraine is a tool of the West against Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin said after a conversation with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban that the godfathers of Kiev continue to use Ukraine and its people as a tool against Russia.
According to the RT report, Putin said that the Hungarian Prime Minister informed him of the details of his visit to Kyiv and that he and Orban discussed possible ways to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
On Friday, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Sziarto expressed hope that the visit of a delegation from this country to Moscow could bring peace to Ukraine, especially since it became clear that there is no solution on the battlefield in the last two and a half years. .
Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian presidency, confirmed that the Russian president and the Hungarian prime minister, who traveled to Moscow, will also discuss the Ukraine crisis. Peskov has already announced that the EU does not want to see an independent Hungary, so they are increasing their pressure on Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
After the meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU member states, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary announced that his country did not agree to allocating 6.5 billion euros from the European Peace Fund to pay the costs of supplying weapons to Ukraine and did not give in to the pressure.
Previously, Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), proposed the creation of a partnership fund to finance Ukraine in the amount of $100 billion over five years during the July meeting in Washington.
