Zelensky: We are planning a new counterattack, but we don’t have enough weapons!

Claiming the country's desire to prepare a new counterattack against Russia, the President of Ukraine claimed that Kiev does not have the necessary equipment for this attack, and the reason for this is the slowness of the process of sending Western aid!

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Rashatodi, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky once again complained to the Western supporters of Kiev about the slow process of sending weapons to Ukraine, claiming that this country has a tendency to oppose prepare a new attack against Russia.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Zelensky refused to describe the conditions of the front line of the battle as “deadlock” and described it as “complex”! However, the president of Ukraine claimed that Kiev does not have enough tools to solve the existing complications and has focused on defensive operations instead of preparing a counterattack against Russia.

Zelensky claimed: We want to prepare a counterattack, but we have not received the equipment and tools. In other words, we have armies without weapons. Reserve forces are available, but our 14 battalions are enough without weapons.

Although the President of Ukraine did not mention the exact number of reserve forces, it seems that he was talking about at least 40,000 reserve forces of the Kiev army.

He continued to complain once again about the “slow” process of delivering weapons from the West to Ukraine in order to fill the arsenal of weapons in Kiev, claiming that the systems that the West is committed to It has been delivered, with the speed it should and maybe, it has not reached Ukraine.

Ukraine launched its long-promised and propagandized counter-offensive in June last year, immediately after receiving a massive cache of advanced military equipment from its Western backers. However, that counter-offensive was unsuccessful and resulted in a minor advance in terms of progress, and in addition, the Kiev army suffered heavy material and human losses during it.

Ukraine’s weak counteroffensive finally caused the US Congress to approve a new military aid package to Kiev for a long time. In October of last year, the White House requested the allocation of $61 billion to Ukraine as part of the national security budget, and it was finally approved in April. Ukraine has attributed the chain of successive defeats on the battlefield to the lack of funding from the United States.
