According to the Anatolian report, Stephane Dujarric, the spokesman of the Organization’s Secretary General, said in a statement: The United Nations is deeply concerned about the increasing intensity of the exchange of fire across the Blue Line (the line separating the border between Lebanon and Israel) on Thursday, which raises the risk of a major war. increases.

The United Nations added: We repeat the requests of the Office of the Special Coordinator of the United Nations in Lebanon and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which asks both sides to immediately return to the cessation of hostilities and to fully implement Security Council Resolution No. 1701 in come back in 2006.
