The weekly demonstrations in Tel Aviv turned violent
Reports indicate that the weekly demonstrations in Tel Aviv against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet turned violent and the police came to the streets with water cannons.
According to the Times of Israel, some protesters blocked a highway and some clashed with the police. Also, the videos published on social networks show that “Yair Lapid”, the head of the opposition of the Zionist regime, has also joined the demonstrators.
It is said that the protesters want to reach an agreement with Hamas and exchange prisoners.
This week’s demonstrations are being held while negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners have resumed in the capital of Qatar.
According to a poll conducted yesterday by Channel 12 of the Zionist regime, 67 percent of Israelis want the return of prisoners from the Gaza Strip and consider it more important than the continuation of the war. Also, according to this survey, more than half of the people (54%) believe that this war has continued for more than 9 months because of Netanyahu’s political considerations and his desire to stay in power.
