American protesters demanded Washington’s withdrawal from NATO
During a protest rally that was held on the eve of the NATO summit in Washington in the American capital, protesters demanded the withdrawal of the United States from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
According to the Sunday morning report of Ryan News Agency, this protest rally was held in the great hall of the Presbyterian Church in the center of Washington with the presence of leaders of civil activist groups from different states of America.
A number of leaders of these civil groups called for the withdrawal of the United States from NATO and the closing of American military bases around the world during this protest rally.
According to the news agency Ryanovsi, the participants in this protest rally carried posters and placards with slogans such as “Stop US imperialism”, “End the war supported by NATO” and “The US military Get out of Africa, Asia and Latin America”, it was written.
The participants in this protest rally also demanded an end to sending American weapons to the Zionist regime.
The NATO summit is scheduled to be held on July 9-11 (19-21 July) in Washington. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also expected to attend the meeting. He said that NATO should resolve the issue of inviting Kiev to join NATO this year.
