Gaza children are being killed in “the most horrific ways”.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Save the Children spokeswoman Alexandra Saieh said that Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip are killing children “in the most horrific ways imaginable”.
He said: “Over the past nine months, and especially over the past few weeks, we have seen children being torn to pieces, their organs being torn apart by explosive weapons, they are being crushed by falling debris… and This procedure is relentless.
Saiya further said that there is currently no safe place in Gaza where civilians can be helped.
The organization affiliated to the United Nations (UNICEF) announced in a report that since the beginning of the war in Gaza, at least 13,800 children have been martyred in the attacks of the Zionist regime.
The number of child martyrs who die due to hunger is increasing every moment. The Palestinian Refugee Agency of the United Nations says that children in Gaza spend 6 to 8 hours a day collecting water and food, carrying heavy weights and long walks.
After 9 months of the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza, a large part of this region has been destroyed amid a crippling siege of food, clean water and medicine. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) previously reported that by mid-July, more than one million people in Gaza are expected to face extreme hunger and death due to malnutrition.
