Assassination of an Iraqi colonel in the border areas

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing the official news agency of Iraq, the command of border forces in the Iraqi army issued a statement announcing the martyrdom of Colonel Hamid Abdul-Dabi in the third border region of Iraq.

According to this report, this Iraqi colonel was assassinated by armed militias while carrying out assigned missions in maintaining border security and preventing human and goods smuggling.

The command of the border forces of the Iraqi army has announced that it will seriously pursue this criminal act until its agents are arrested.
