NATO’s approach to Russia’s borders is followed by Moscow’s response

Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin spokesman, said that the actions of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO), which were announced at the summit in Washington, require Russia to take decisions to counter NATO. 

According to Tass, he said: We see NATO’s decision to create logistics hubs in the cities of the Black Sea coast and to create additional bases in Europe; And we see that, in fact, the military infrastructure of NATO is constantly and gradually moving towards our borders. 

According to this politician, the coalition aims to suppress and impose a strategic defeat on Russia, which requires Moscow to take “thoughtful, coordinated and effective retaliatory measures to counter NATO”.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow will respond to the deployment of American long-range missiles in Germany. According to him, Russia’s response will be military.

Greece Defense Minister Nikos Dandias said today that a document was signed on the sidelines of the NATO meeting in Washington, according to which the three countries of Greece, Bulgaria and Romania agreed to create a military corridor in NATO’s eastern flank.
