The claim of the Israeli army about the arrival of 261 aid trucks to Gaza

The Israeli army claims that with the spread of famine in Gaza, 261 aid trucks entered Gaza.

The Israeli army claimed that it allowed 261 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

Coordinating Organization of Government Activities in the Occupied Territories (COGAT), the organization responsible for managing the trucks, said: 248 people crossed through the Karim Abu Salem (Karim Shalom) crossing and 13 through the Beit Hanoun (Ariz) crossing in the north. .

This agency announced that 31 pallets weighing 5.58 tons also landed over Gaza.

The UN and other international organizations continue to report Israel’s restrictions on sending aid to the besieged area. A group of independent UN experts say that famine has spread throughout Gaza after more than 9 months of war.

The Zionist regime prevents fuel, food and medicine from entering Gaza. In addition, the severe blockade of Gaza includes the prohibition of ventilators, oxygen cylinders, anesthetics, water purification systems, X-ray machines and even canes.

Osame Hamdan, one of the senior officials of Hamas, recently described the situation created due to the siege as “serious” and said that based on the current needs of the people, at least 500 aid trucks should enter Gaza every day.
