According to this report, the Zionist Space Industries Company IAI will deliver “Ofek-13” spy satellite to Morocco in the next five years to replace 2 Airbus and Thales satellites.
The media of the Zionist regime reported that the agreement to carry out this deal goes back to before the start of the operation on October 7th (15th Mehr 1402), and the contract has now been signed.
The Zionist regime and the West signed a defense pact in 2021 that covers information and cooperation in military industries and logistics. Also, before this, the Zionist Aviation Industry Company had sold the Barak 8 defense system worth half a million dollars to Morocco.
Maghreb’s relations with the Zionist regime resumed on December 10, 2020, after a 20-year hiatus. The reason for breaking off relations in 2000 was the occurrence of the second Palestinian intifada.
Morocco signed a tripartite agreement with the United States and the Zionist regime, according to which the United States recognizes the Western Sahara as the land of the Maghreb, and Morocco also agreed to resume relations with this regime.
