According to the website of the US government, this $225 million package, which is presented under the supervision of Joe Biden, includes a Patriot missile battery, ammunition for advanced missile systems, Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, 155 and 105 mm artillery shells, optical tracking systems. and other peripheral equipment. Blinken announced that the new aid will be sent as soon as possible.
The NATO summit is being held in Washington and the war in Ukraine has been the most important issue in this meeting so far. NATO members announced that they will further equip Ukraine with several strategic air defense systems. The heads of this military alliance also pledged to provide at least 43 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine. In addition, the United States, together with the Netherlands and Denmark, announced that the first F-16 fighter jets provided by NATO will be in the hands of Ukrainian army pilots by this summer.
