Türkiye made conditions for agreeing to cooperation between NATO and Israel

Turkey's president announced that Ankara will not support Israel-NATO cooperation until peace is established.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that Ankara will not approve “any attempt to cooperate with Israel in NATO” until “comprehensive and lasting peace is established in Palestine”.

Erdogan added in a press conference in Washington: Netanyahu’s cabinet endangers the security of not only its citizens but also the entire region with its expansionist and reckless policies.

He assured that he used his allotted time at the NATO summit to draw attention to Israel’s “ongoing crimes” in the Gaza Strip.

Erdogan said: It is unacceptable to continue military support for Israel in an environment where the global conscience comes to the streets to stop attacks on Palestinian civilians.

President of Turkey had previously asked Western countries to put pressure on Israel to accept the latest ceasefire offer in Gaza. He warned that if the war against Gaza does not stop, all countries will be at risk. He supports the Palestinians and has been very critical of Israel. Erdoğan believes that Israel should refrain from its attacks in the Palestinian areas and should work to remove the siege and oppression of the Palestinian people.

The Zionist regime headed by Netanyahu has caused a lot of destruction in Gaza and has caused a genocide in this area against the Palestinians.

Tel Aviv has killed nearly 38,000 people with ground and air attacks in this area.
