Only 5 World Health Organization aid trucks arrived in Gaza last week

According to the director general of the World Health Organization, only 5 aid trucks of this organization entered Gaza last week.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) announced in a post on the X social network that last week only five trucks of the organization carrying medical equipment were allowed to enter the Gaza Strip.

He explained: “More than 34 of our trucks are waiting at Al-Arish crossing and 850 pallets of medical equipment are waiting to be collected. Another 40 trucks are waiting in Ismailia, Egypt

The World Health Organization demanded that restrictions on the entry of aid into Gaza be lifted “immediately”.

The head of the World Health Organization previously warned that if the severe lack of fuel in Gaza continues, there will be more disruption in the provision of health services in this area.

The World Food Program affiliated with the United Nations also announced widespread hunger in the Gaza Strip and catastrophic human conditions in this strip. 

After nearly 9 months of the Gaza war, large parts of this region are under a crippling siege of food, clean water and medicine. (Regime) Israel is accused of genocide at the Hague Tribunal and its case is under review. In its last session, this court ordered an immediate halt to the attack on Rafah; However, the said order has been clearly ignored until today.
