Only 5 World Health Organization aid trucks arrived in Gaza last week
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) announced in a post on the X social network that last week only five trucks of the organization carrying medical equipment were allowed to enter the Gaza Strip.
He explained: “More than 34 of our trucks are waiting at Al-Arish crossing and 850 pallets of medical equipment are waiting to be collected. Another 40 trucks are waiting in Ismailia, Egypt
The World Health Organization demanded that restrictions on the entry of aid into Gaza be lifted “immediately”.
