Hamas: Netanyahu is obstructing the negotiations

Hossam Badran, one of the senior leaders of Hamas, informed about Netanyahu's failure and US moves to negotiate with the resistance movement.

“Hossam Badran”, one of the senior leaders of Hamas, said on Friday morning about Netanyahu’s disruption and the US’s efforts to close negotiations with the resistance movement: Netanyahu is avoiding negotiations due to personal goals, and the occupying regime has no will to reach an agreement.
According to the Palestinian “Sama” news agency, Badran stated: While the Hamas resistance has agreed to Biden’s plan, Netanyahu is not paying attention to this plan along with the UN Security Council resolution and ignores it. /p>

He added: The Hamas movement has taken a soft and positive stance, but Netanyahu is trying to disrupt the agreement and lies in his public statements [based on negotiations].

Badran said that despite the fact that the negotiating team is from the Hamas movement, decisions are made with the consultation of all Palestinian national groups.

He once again referred to the management of Gaza after the war and considered it a Palestinian issue in which no foreign country should interfere and emphasized: We will never negotiate with any foreign country about the fate of Gaza after the end of the war. /p>

Badran asked the international community to put pressure on the parties that disrupt the negotiations and to convince them to stop the attacks on Gaza.

These developments coincided with the statements of US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, who announced on Friday night that negotiators have made progress towards achieving a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and that “signs are more positive than in recent months.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that a delegation had visited the region.

An Israeli delegation led by Mossad chief David Barnia was in Qatar last week for talks and returned to Tel Aviv later today. Barnia, who heads Israel’s Mossad spy agency, met and talked with Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

American officials say that the ceasefire in Gaza can become a permanent cessation of hostilities. The war has caused turmoil in the West Asia and major political divisions globally, and is even hurting Biden’s bid for re-election in November.
