Ukraine is not ready to launch “counter attack 2”.
Ukraine will not be able to launch a new “counterattack” despite the arms procurement and economic aid announced by NATO member states this week.
According to the New York Times newspaper, Kiev will not be able to organize such a counterattack until 2025.
This American newspaper wrote: “The delivery of aid in the form of missiles, armored vehicles, ammunition and air defense systems from the United States and European countries to Ukraine takes weeks and maybe months; And some weapons have not yet been purchased or produced.”
The promises made to Ukraine are considered “long-term commitments to ensure security for a decade.” According to a senior Pentagon official, the Ukrainians will have to defend themselves for at least six months, which will not allow them to achieve significant success.
A senior NATO official added that the North Atlantic Alliance’s support for Ukraine allows it to resist Russia only until 2025.
It was revealed earlier that the representatives of more than 20 countries signed a document to speed up the process of providing aid to Ukraine. Among the participants were America, France, Germany, Italy, Poland and other countries.
