Netanyahu rejected the withdrawal of the occupying forces from the border of Egypt and Gaza

Netanyahu's office rejected the report that the occupying army is ready to withdraw from the Gaza-Egypt border as part of the ceasefire agreement.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the Reuters report about the imminent withdrawal of the occupiers from the Egypt-Gaza border as “fake news” and completely rejected it.

According to the Times of Israel, Reuters quoted two Egyptian sources as saying that Israeli negotiators are discussing the installation of an electronic surveillance system on the border and are set to leave the border as part of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement. .

The question of whether the Zionist forces will remain on the border or not is one of the issues that prevent a possible agreement and the establishment of a ceasefire, because both the Hamas movement and the Egyptian mediators are against the presence of the occupiers on the border.

Previously, Hossam Badran, one of the senior leaders of Hamas, had announced that Netanyahu was disrupting the ceasefire negotiations. In this regard, he said: “Netanyahu avoids negotiations due to his personal goals, and the occupying regime has no will to reach an agreement.” While the Hamas resistance has agreed to Biden’s plan, Netanyahu is not paying attention to this plan along with the UN Security Council resolution and ignores it.”

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan also announced last night that although progress has been made in the negotiations, there is no guarantee of a ceasefire agreement.
