“Alexei Dedov” in a conversation with Ryanovsti news agency added that Moscow hopes for qualitative changes in bilateral relations and that the strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran will be signed in the near future.

The Russian ambassador also said that if Iran declares its readiness to join the mediation process to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, Moscow will be ready to consider such proposals.

Previously, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko also said that Moscow accepts Tehran as a mediator in the peace negotiations of the Ukrainian war, and if such a proposal is made, it will consider it.
