Hamas: We are looking for a written guarantee not to resume the war

In the ceasefire negotiations, Hamas has demanded a written guarantee to show that the Zionist regime will not resume the war after the exchange of prisoners.

Ahmed Abdel Hadi, the head of the political office of Hamas in Lebanon, says that according to the framework proposed by Joe Biden for negotiations and establishing a ceasefire in Gaza, “as long as the negotiations continue, the ceasefire will be in place”. However, Hamas wants written guarantees that “negotiations will continue until a permanent ceasefire is reached.”
According to The Times of Israel, this Hamas official said: “Based on the current framework, Netanyahu can stop the negotiations and then resume aggression at any time. We want a written guarantee to ensure that negotiations continue until a permanent ceasefire is reached.”

Negotiations regarding the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza are ongoing and various sources have revealed details of it. A few hours ago, the Reuters news agency, quoting its sources, announced that the Israeli army plans to withdraw its forces from the border of Gaza and Egypt as part of the agreement. This issue, which is one of the most important issues that has prevented the agreement so far, was rejected by the office of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, and he called this news “fake”.

Hamas officials say that the prime minister of the Zionist regime has deliberately obstructed the negotiations for his political survival and has no will to reach an agreement.
