The threat of the Group of 7 from Saudi Arabia is in favor of Russia

According to mehr reporter to Quoting Rashatoudi, reports show that probably because of the threat from Saudi Arabia, the Group of 7 abandoned its plan to confiscate Russian assets.

The United States and England sought to confiscate 280 billion dollars of Russian assets, which have been blocked in Western countries since 2022 and the beginning of the military conflict between Moscow and Kiev, in favor of Ukraine. Informed sources have announced that Saudi Arabia has threatened to sell part of its Eurobonds if the Group of 7 follows the plan to confiscate Russian assets.

Two informed sources also said that Saudi Arabia has directly mentioned the sale of French bonds.

Russia has repeatedly condemned this approach of the Group of 7 and Dmitry Medovev, the former president of this country, has said that this action may lead to war.
