Prevalence of hepatitis among Gaza refugees
The state media office in Gaza confirmed that 71,338 people have contracted hepatitis liver infection due to displacement across the Strip since the war began on October 7.
According to the Sama Al-Akhbariya report, this organization reported that more than 1,700,000 Palestinians have contracted infectious diseases as a result of the harsh conditions of displacement since the beginning of the war.
Government media office in Gaza said: 350,000 people with chronic diseases in the Gaza Strip are facing great risks due to the occupation preventing the entry of essential medicines.
On the other hand, Philip Lazzarini, the Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees known as UNRWA, said that 45 aid trucks enter the Gaza Strip every day, which is much less than the needs of the besieged Gaza.
He stressed: In order to end the war that has been going on for more than 9 months in the Gaza Strip, a political solution must be found, otherwise a generation of young people and children will become victims.
Since last October 7th, the Zionist regime, with the full support of the United States, has launched a devastating war against Gaza, which has left nearly 125,000 Palestinians dead and wounded and thousands missing.
This regime continues its attacks despite two resolutions of the UN Security Council to immediately stop the war and the order of the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip and to take measures to prevent acts of genocide.
