Imran Khan’s acquittal in the illegal marriage case

A court in Pakistan acquitted the country's former prime minister in the illegal marriage case.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Deutsche Welle, “Imran Khan” the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and his wife were acquitted in the case of illegal marriage.

On Saturday, a court in Pakistan acquitted the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and his wife Bushra Khan from the charge of illegal marriage.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party spokesman also confirmed this news and announced that the Islamabad court rejected the mentioned charges against Khan.

The judge of this court announced that the appeal of Imran Khan and his wife will be accepted.

Khan was also tried last August by another court for selling gifts worth more than 140 million rupees (762000 dollars) during his prime ministership in the years2018-2022 who was at the disposal of the government was sentenced to three years in prison.
