71 Palestinians were martyred as a result of rocket attacks and bombardment in al-Mawasi region

At least 71 people were martyred and hundreds were injured following the attacks of the Zionist forces on al-Mawasi area in the south of the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that 71 Palestinians were killed and 289 others were injured, some of them in critical condition, following the military attacks of the occupiers on Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, located in the south of the Gaza Strip.

According to Al-Jazeera, the spokesperson of the Gaza Civil Defense says that the warplanes of the Zionist regime attacked al-Mawasi, while this area was previously designated as a “safe area”. The obtained images show people trying to save people who are under the rubble and some of the injured are children and rescuers. 

Al-Jazeera reporter Tariq Abu Azum described this attack, which took place with 5 bombs and 5 rockets, as a “massacre” and said that the victims are being transferred to “Nasser” and “Kuwait” hospitals. The number of injured is so high that it is said that the medical teams do not have the capacity to accept new people. 

Hamas announced in a statement that the attack on an area where more than 80,000 displaced people live is a clear confirmation that the Zionist regime intends to destroy the Palestinian people by repeatedly and systematically targeting defenseless civilians in tents, shelters and residential neighborhoods. has the 

Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, which is located in the south of the Gaza Strip, has been the target of the Zionist army many times. At least 21 people were martyred in only one of these attacks that took place at the end of May on the tents of displaced families.
