The number of martyrs of the attack on “Al-Mawasi” increased to 90 people
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that the number of martyrs of the attack on Al-Mawasi area in the west of Khan Yunis, located in the south of the Gaza Strip, has increased to 90 people. Meanwhile, it is said that half of the martyrs are women and children.
According to Al Jazeera, the number of people who were injured after this bombing has also reached more than 300 people.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry reacted to this barbaric attack and “strongly” condemned the “continuation of the genocide of the Palestinian people by the Israeli war machine”. Saudi Arabia further demanded the activation of international response mechanisms against Israel’s aggression.
It is said that this attack, which was carried out with 5 missiles and 5 bombs, was very bloody and most of the injured are being transferred to the “Nasser” medical complex in Khan Yunis, which is severely lacking in staff and vital equipment. The lack of medicine and equipment is such that the hospital does not even have painkillers to relieve the pain of injured people.
Hebrew media claim that the target of these attacks was “Mohammed Zaif”, the commander of the military wing of Hamas. Minutes later, Hamas called this claim “a lie” and announced that it strongly condemns the massacre of innocent people. Hamas emphasized in its statement: “The massacre of al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis, which is an area full of more than 80,000 displaced people, is a clear confirmation by the Zionist regime that by repeatedly and systematically targeting defenseless civilians in tents, refugee centers and residential neighborhoods And committing the most heinous crimes against them, he continues his war of destruction against the Palestinian people.”
The al-Mawasi region, which is located in the south of the Gaza Strip, has been the target of the Zionist army many times. At least 21 people were martyred in only one of these attacks that took place at the end of May on the tents of displaced families.
