The Prime Minister of England and some other European officials reacted to the unsuccessful assassination of Trump.

Newly elected British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s office has said in response to the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally: “We strongly condemn all forms of political violence and wish President Trump and his family the best at this time. We will send.”

The British Prime Minister was one of the first world leaders to condemn this incident.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni sent a message of solidarity and best wishes for Donald Trump’s speedy recovery. He added that he hopes to “witness dialogue and overcome hatred and violence.”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who went to Florida to meet Trump after the NATO meeting in Washington DC on Thursday, also issued a statement about this shooting.

Orban wrote on X: “My thoughts and prayers are with President @realDonaldTrump in these dark hours.”

Joseph Borrell, the European Union foreign policy official, said he was shocked by the news of the attack on Trump and strongly condemns it. Once again we see unacceptable violence against political representatives.

Trump canceled his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday because of the shooting. Released footage shows the politician being led away by security guards with a bloody ear. Trump later said he was injured in the ear and lost a lot of blood.

Before this, American journalists published the initial plan of the assassination attempt on Trump. According to them, the shooter was sitting on the roof 125 meters from Trump. He managed to shoot 9 shots, and then the snipers of the US Secret Service, who are active in the protection of all former presidents, killed the attacker.
