Trump’s path to return to the White House became easier

A newspaper quoted members of the Republican Party as saying that after the shooting of Trump, the way to the White House has been opened for him.

According to a Politico report, Republicans in Congress believe that the shooting of Donald Trump, the candidate for the US presidential election, at the election meeting on Saturday night opened an easier path for Trump to return to the White House.

According to Al-Mayadeen report, Derek Van Orden, the Republican representative of Wisconsin, said in a short interview: Trump survived that attack, but he won the election prematurely.

Also, Republican Representative Tim Burchett of Tennessee pointed to the photos and videos of Trump that quickly spread on the Internet and said: “What happened more than anything energizes the party, Trump still raises his fist in the air.” And he doesn’t want to go and he shouts: fight, fight, fight.

Politico also reported that the shooting, which several Republican lawmakers immediately described as an assassination attempt, sent shockwaves through the already turbulent US election.

The reason is that the Democrats, who were fighting over the electability of the current president, Joe Biden, and had been united only in criticizing Trump for the past two weeks, quickly muted their attacks on the former president. On the other hand, Republicans, who remained silent amid the Democratic uproar, were quick to blame the opposition party’s rhetoric for attacking Trump.

Trump was shot in the ear during a speech. Video footage showed members of the Secret Service and police escorting Trump to a car as he raised his fist in the air. It was later revealed that the shooter was killed by the secret service.
