Seoul warned its northern neighbor
South Korea warned North Korea on Sunday that any attempt to use nuclear weapons would lead to the end of Pyongyang’s rule.
South Korea’s defense ministry said in a statement: We strongly warn that there is no scenario in which North Korea can survive after using nuclear weapons.
This statement came from Seoul’s Defense Ministry in response to North Korea’s condemnation of recent guidelines for nuclear deterrence and nuclear operations on the Korean Peninsula, which were approved by South Korea and the United States on Thursday in Washington.
North Korea announced that the statement of the Washington summit, which was prepared and made public on July 10, proves that the United States and NATO, which have been reduced to a tool for their confrontation, are the most serious threat to world peace and security.
