Trump’s second statement after the assassination: We will not let the devil win!
Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, by sending a message on his social network known as Truth Social, asked his fans to unite after his unsuccessful assassination.
According to Newsweek, Trump wrote in a post: “Thank you everyone for your prayers yesterday. It was only God who prevented the unimaginable from happening. We are not afraid, instead we resist our faith and remain bold in the face of evil.”
He further mentioned the victims of this incident and said: “We pray for the recovery of the injured and we keep the memory of the citizen who was killed in a horrible way in our hearts. At this moment, the most important thing is that we stand united as American citizens and we will not let Satan win.”
It should be said; The former US president was shot in the ear during a speech at an election event. Footage of the incident shows members of the Secret Service and police escorting Trump to a car after the shooting. This happens while there are only a few more days left until the announcement of the official Republican candidate.
