Syria’s warning about the consequences of continued aggression by the Zionist regime

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Syria announced in a statement that the soldiers of the occupying Israeli regime carried out airstrikes against the occupied Golan early this morning (Sunday) and several military bases in the southern region and one of the residential buildings in the neighborhood. They targeted Kufrsoussa in Damascus.

In this statement, referring to the martyrdom of one soldier and the wounding of three others in these attacks and the damage to residential buildings and infrastructures, it is stated: The Syrian Arab Republic continues the international silence regarding the violation of international laws and treaties by the regime. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Syria also warned about the continuation of the aggression of the Zionist regime on the territory of Syria and other countries in the region and the escalation of tensions and its dangerous consequences.

It is stated in this statement that Syria strongly condemns these aggressions and asks the United Nations to fulfill its responsibility to prevent the organized crimes of the Zionist regime, including ending the occupation of this regime in Arab lands.

Syria also emphasized its right to defend its sovereignty and liberate the occupied lands using all legitimate means.

Syrian official news sources reported this morning that the Zionist army has once again targeted Damascus.

The Syrian news agency also reported that the country’s air defense countered the rockets fired by the Zionist regime and shot down most of them.
